This beautiful bluebird is made with seaglass and pottery from Seaham* and Portishead, UK, and a piece of beachcombed driftwood.
Captured perfectly in a black wooden box frame measuring 24cm (aperture 21.5cm), this handmade artwork will make a perfect gift or treat - an eyecatching addition to any home.
* World renowned amongst sea glass lovers, Seaham beach yields some of the most sought after sea glass pieces.
The Londonderry Bottleworks, which operated from the 1850s to 1921, was the largest in Britain. Producing up to 20,000 hand-blown bottles every day, they distributed their glassworks world wide. At the end of each day, waste glass was dumped into the North Sea which obviously would be frowned upon in this day and age.
